Usage: review activity and budgets
Read project and workspace usage, understand reserved spending, and manage the workspace media budget.
Choose project or workspace usage#
Choose Usage in the project toolbar for Project usage. It shows that project’s recorded work alongside the workspace caps that govern it. Use Workspace usage from the account menu, or Usage from the main navigation, for the whole workspace.
Check the Updated time and choose Refresh usage when you need a new reading. Select the intended workspace in the account menu before interpreting the figures.
Read the usage summary#

Not every displayed policy is an enforced admission limit. Read the accompanying guidance, especially the active per-run and pending-run limits. The summary reports recorded activity and configuration; it is not a complete invoice.
Understand reserved and settled spending#
Reserved spending accounts for work admitted against a budget before its final amount is settled. Settled spending reflects accounted work. A budget can be fully reserved or settled even while some work is still in progress.
If no image budget is configured, generated image requests are not sent. Ask CLM Studio support to set or raise that budget. For media, read the specific guidance shown: without a spending cap, eligible qualified video can be metered without a cap, while other media require a budget.
Project usage does not create a separate project budget. Its allowance figures remain workspace-scoped.
Set the workspace media budget#
A workspace owner can change Media budget settings on the workspace Usage page. Other members can read the current amount.
- Open workspace Usage rather than a single project’s Usage.
- Review Current workspace media budget.
- Enter the desired amount in New media budget (USD).
- Choose Save media budget.
- Wait for the saved amount to be confirmed, then refresh usage if needed.
If another update changed the budget, choose Refresh current budget, review it, then choose Use this current budget for a new update. If a result is uncertain, use Retry the same update or Refresh budget and review rather than submitting unrelated repeated updates.
Export recorded process insights#
Open Export insights from Usage to download recorded process activity as JSON.
- Set Start date (inclusive), End date (exclusive) and Time zone.
- Choose a project, or All accessible projects in workspace Usage. Project Usage keeps the export scoped to the current project.
- Optionally filter by exact saved brand and market names, then select the metric set.
- Choose Request export and follow its status. Use Refresh export status when needed.
- After success, choose Download insights JSON before the displayed expiry.
The export includes metric definitions, filters, source freshness and coverage. Unavailable values remain empty rather than becoming invented measurements. Only work within your current workspace and access scope is included.
