Ground content in reviewed sources

Review website retrievals, source versions and claims before using them.

Start with a public website#

Where source ingestion is available, open Ground a presentation from a website. Enter a Public website URL and follow the retrieval action offered by the panel. Configure Presentation context first if Studio requests brand and market.

The retrieval result is material for review. A public page may contain navigation, mixed audiences or content for a different market, so check what was actually retrieved.

Review the returned material#

  1. Open the retrieval result or Review saved retrievals.
  2. Inspect the available sources and grounded claims.
  3. Select the sources and claims you intend to use.
  4. Review Brand names, Palette, Presentation target audience and Presentation target markets when shown.
  5. Confirm the selected scope using the action shown by the source panel.

Keep exact numerical values and their scientific context together. A recognizable claim without its endpoint, population or timepoint may be misleading.

Handle newer source versions#

If Studio detects a changed source scope, review the difference. The panel can offer Keep cited versions, Keep current source scope or Review newer source scope, depending on the conflict.

Choose deliberately. Retaining cited versions preserves an existing source relationship; selecting a new source scope does not by itself rewrite every slide.

Check sources after generation#

Review the generated slide against the selected material, especially numerical claims, labels and citations. Use linked-material or source-evidence inspection where offered for the selected object.

A source connection explains provenance. Your team still needs to decide whether the wording and use are appropriate for the intended audience and market.
