Paths: routes, discussion setup & rehearsal
Offer different routes through the same saved presentation.

What a path changes#
A presentation path selects and orders slides for a particular conversation. Paths reuse the same deck, so you can offer a short overview and a detailed route without maintaining separate copies of every slide.
Visible local choices can control authored branches. Native CRM-driven starting rules depend on separately configured fields and a qualified target runtime.
Add visible choices and shortcuts#
Open Choices, shortcuts and content for the selected path. Define the visible local choices the audience may select, then use Show this path when to attach conditions.
Use Shortcuts and returns for intentional jumps. Review the destination and return behavior. Path-specific content variations leave the original slide content and other paths unchanged.
Check every intended route#
Preview every path, including its ending and shortcuts. Keep required shared slides available on every applicable route. A hidden or missing slide can change the intended conversation.
If the saved deck changes while the path proposal is open, use Reopen current paths when offered and review again before applying. Use Check saved operation for an unconfirmed apply instead of submitting another edit.
Choose the starting path#
Open Paths, then configure Starting path. Choose Audience choice for an explicit choice or Specialty rule to use a configured specialty field.
- Select the Configured specialty field when using specialty rules.
- Add a rule with Specialty is and its Start path.
- Use Earlier and Later to set the first-match order.
- Choose a Default path for missing, denied, unknown or unmatched information.
- Set Keep shared slides on every path if the same context belongs in every route.
Check the routes with Sample preview. Specialty matching uses the permitted values declared in Personalization setup.
Configure the discussion and recap#
Once paths have been saved, open Discussion setup. Name the recap and its modules, then classify each choice as a Topic or Pace / depth. Set the authored destination and optional Duration label; this label is your estimate.
Add the relevant Resources, their slide or link actions and module scope. Review Contact and follow-up, then choose Save discussion setup. Use Check saved discussion operation if confirmation is uncertain. See Takeaway for the selected-topic summary and email draft.
Rehearse a saved route#
Open Rehearse the experience or Guided rehearsal for the saved route. Choose New scenario, set a Scenario name, Starting path and Target profile, then use Add step to define the sequence.
Choose Save scenario, then Run saved scenario. Inspect the steps actually executed and their results. Rehearsal checks the supported saved-preview behavior; native-device acceptance is a separate delivery step.
