Access: manage collaborators
Review roles, allowed actions, project scope and membership expiry.
Open Access and read your role#
Choose Access in the project toolbar to review project access, or Access in the main navigation to review the workspace. The page shows Your role and the collaborators visible to you.
Each member displays a role, Scope, Actions and Status. Roles include Owner, Admin, Editor, Reviewer, Agency partner and Viewer. The Actions list is the useful guide to the operations that member can perform, such as Read, Edit, Generate or Export.
If you do not have management permission, the page remains a view of the access shared with you.
Change a collaborator’s access#
- Find the intended member and review their current scope and status.
- Choose Edit access for that person when the control is available.
- Under Membership settings, choose the appropriate Role.
- Set any project, brand or market limits and an expiry if required.
- Choose Save access, then inspect the refreshed member entry.
The editor does not offer changes to your own membership or an Owner membership. Changes to another member apply across the workspace even when you opened Access from a project.
Use scope and expiry deliberately#
Turn on Limit to project IDs (comma separated), Limit to brands (comma separated) or Limit to markets (comma separated) to constrain a membership. A project must match every scope you specify.
- An unchecked scope includes all values in that dimension.
- A checked scope with no values grants access to no projects in that dimension.
- Multiple values in a field are entered as comma-separated items.
Set Expires at (local time) when access should end at a particular time. A blank expiry means no expiry is configured. The member’s Status distinguishes active, expiring, expired and revoked access.
Join from a workspace invitation#
Open the invitation link supplied by your workspace administrator. Choose Sign in to accept and use the email address that received the invitation. Your verified account is used to apply the invited access.
If the link is missing or invalid, ask the administrator for a new invitation. If acceptance fails because a different account is signed in, sign out and use the invited account. The Access page described here manages existing visible memberships; it does not contain an invitation-creation form.
Check an uncertain change#
If Studio says the change could not be confirmed, reload Access before trying again. Inspect the member’s current role, scope and expiry rather than assuming the first update failed.
If access cannot be loaded, choose Try again and confirm the current workspace. Your membership may have changed. Use Back to project or Back to projects to return to your work.
